Onboarding call

You will then have an onboarding call with one of our Customer Success Engineers (CSE). The purpose of this call is to ensure that we have all the necessary information to provision the triple-redundant virtual machine cluster for your staging and production environments.

The enterprise cluster is a distinct system from the development project, built using a trio of dedicated virtual machines. You will transfer data from the development project to the staging and production instances using standard Git, SSH, and Rsync tools.

As part of the onboarding you will be provided with access to a Google Doc spreadsheet, the "onboarding spreadsheet". This document will be your permanent reference for domains, IP addresses, and so on throughout the site launch process so bookmark it.

Your role

  • Be able to tell us what domains and subdomains will be used for production, and any domain-level redirects needed (such as from example.com to www.example.com, or vice versa).
  • Let us know what services you will be using (Solr, Elasticsearch, etc.). While almost everything covered here can be changed later if needed, it's faster to get it all right the first time.
